About The Role

As a SMB Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business growth within the small-to-medium business (SMB) segment. You will manage a high volume of sales opportunities, engaging prospects through outbound and inbound efforts, conducting product demos, and closing deals efficiently. This role is perfect for a highly driven, competitive, and adaptable salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing for small-to-medium business (SMB) clients.
  • Identify and qualify leads through outbound prospecting and inbound inquiries.
  • Conduct product demos and effectively communicate value propositions to potential customers.
  • Develop strong relationships with business owners and key stakeholders.
  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas by closing high-velocity deals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and outreach strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline management in CRM tools.
  • Provide feedback to product and customer success teams based on customer insights.

About You

  • You have a founder mode mindset, with experience building and scaling products or companies from zero to one.
  • You have deep experience in AI, SaaS, or B2B environments.
  • You have experience recruiting and leading teams, fostering a high-performance culture with a focus on results and innovation.
  • You know how to drive execution, delivering results quickly while balancing long-term goals and sustainability.
  • You're going to work long days to ensure the success of your vertical and will not give up.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong prospecting and closing skills, with a consultative approach to selling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-energy sales environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation software.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
