Segment Manager – TPI, will be responsible for managing and developing existing and new customers, from a variety of sub-segments (Industries) where Thermal Insulation plays a major role, e.g. Steel, Cement, Ceramic, Aluminium, Glass etc. This would be done in accordance with the commercial plan he/she has developed with the transversal support of the Promat division. Segment Manager would be in-charge of the monthly reporting on the commercial and financial performance of the Segment.
He/She would be responsible to convert the strategic growth ambition of Promat division into tangible commercial objectives and relevant market approach by segments
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in the Steel, Cement, Refractory or Ceramic Industry, with a clear understanding of Steel making, Ceramic products manufacturing (tableware, sanitary products), Refractories, Primary and secondary Aluminium
- Proven track record as sales rep within the marketplace and able to demonstrate ability to network and build relationships
- Experience in pipeline management and project follow-up via a CRM tool (ideally salesforce)
- Be a real team player working closely with colleagues and exchanging best practices
- Ability to understand and act on financial information
- Ability to build trust and create valuable relationships with customers
- Solution based selling – closing deals
- Key account management skills - Building relationships – Negotiation - Contract management
