Position Title: Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst

Position Location: 3803 West Chester Pike, Suite 105, Newtown Square, PA 19073

  • 100% remote position reporting to Newtown Square, PA.

Salary: $121,000 to $130,000/yr.

Days / Hours: Mon – Fri / 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

JOB DUTIES: Install, configure and maintain customer quality assurance (QA) environments. Perform testing activities for new customer implementations and ongoing customer change requests, ensuring deliverables are timely and high quality. Ensure QA best practices are followed. Assist in onboarding/mentoring new QA resources to the team. Participate within the assigned team to ensure quality deliveries within targeted timeframes based on work effort and allocation. Define, develop, maintain and execute test scripts ensuring functional requirements are met. Test and sign-off on releases. Set-up, install, test, and maintain QA environments, and test data. Coordinate with internal resources to clarify requirements, specifications and issues. Review test scripts, and manage test cycles. Manage defects and QA artifacts through an online tracking tool.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field of study and 5 years of progressive experience in software quality assurance. Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field of study and 1 year of experience in software quality assurance, in lieu of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years of progressive experience.

Applicants Must Have Demonstrated Experience With

Software QA best practices, testing and validation concepts; Software QA within healthcare industry; Healthcare claim processing; Reading and analyzing Rule Specs, RCCQ (rules configuration and criteria questionnaire) requirement documents, to understand rule functionality and customization; Reading and understanding CR (customer requirement) requirement documents, to understand changes being requested; Designing and building test cases using the Rule Spec, RCCQ (rules configuration and criteria questionnaire) or CR (customer requirement) documents; Executing test cases and comparing Outbound Results with expected results; Processing XML files using manual Claim Submission tools and Fitnesse Automation tool (an OpenSource Automation tool); Managing Defect triage process with development team and retesting Defect Fixes; Troubleshooting technical issues relating to the testing process, including: Windows server maintenance, application upgrades and maintenance, updating and refreshing data in the database, windows server/IIS/Integration layer maintenance and troubleshooting; and Working with command line utilities, remote desktop clients, Windows services and XML (Extensible Markup Language).
