Your Role:

As An IT Support Engineer, You Will

IT Support

  • The first line of support across all areas of the adore business
  • As part of the IT Systems team, ensure that all incoming tickets are responded to and either resolved, delegated within the team or escalated to the appropriate third party to ensure a resolution
  • Ensure the smooth running of the corporate and ecommerce technologies to ensure the least disruption to Adore Staff and our customers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software, hardware and SaaS solutions across warehouse, ecommerce and corporate platforms
  • Analyze records, logs and previous incidents to identify and deliver on permanent improvements
  • Ensure the right observability of our systems is in place to ensure early identification of incidents
  • Identify and deliver against automation opportunities
  • Ensure an amazing onboarding experience for all new Adore team members
  • Procure, Install and configure technology solutions

Project Delivery

  • Delivery of agreed technology projects across warehouse , corporate and ecommerce platforms
  • Act as a technical SME for corporate and ecommerce technology projects providing advice on impact, communications, risk and approach
  • Ensure your stakeholders and internal customers have the necessary communication and training for newly delivered solutions
  • Support prioritisation discussion with team and with stakeholders
  • Ensure dependent 3rd parties are delivering to our needs and escalate as required
  • Ensure sprint and roadmap progress is consistently updated

Cyber Security

  • Identity and deliver change to improve our cyber security posture
  • Provide coaching and support where a lack of cyber security controls or knowledge is in place
  • Security Patching to ensure vulnerabilities are being managed
  • Preventative security management is delivered per identified responsibilities assigned in the security roadmap

Team Work

  • Engage in continuous learning and contribute positively to a collaborative and respectful working environment aligned with the culture and values of Adore Beauty
  • Develop and maintain proactive and productive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate information as appropriate with relevant team members and to ensure they have up-to-date information
  • Participate in team activities and meetings demonstrating respect and consideration for individual experience and expertise.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role with demonstrated experience providing technology support across corporate technologies
  • Service Desk and helpdesk experience
  • Supporting SaaS based platforms across corporate and ecommerce platforms
  • Delivery of security improvements and improved cyber security practices
  • Delivering improvements in automation and monitoring
  • Supporting public cloud workloads
  • Writing, reviewing, and troubleshooting Microsoft SQL queries would be desirable
