RESPONSIBILITIES
Design / QC
Create wireframes, prototypes, and final artwork for all Cars Commerce brand B2B digital experiences
Provide development-ready mockups for development teams for use in WordPress websites and custom development environments
Provide motion direction to video and development teams to ensure proper UX for integrated mediums and dynamic storytelling
Collaborate with product teams to develop functionally accurate UI designs of digital service offerings and proof of concepts
Maintain a high level of throughput on all internal marketing and communications requests, including but not limited to development tickets, product-oriented OEM requirements / enrollment sites, and design support for product-driven animation.
Provide detailed QC notes for development teams on in-progress projects to ensure proper translation from design to production across all devices
Brand Management
Ensure Cars Commerce.inc and Cars Commerce B2B digital assets are up-to-date and on-brand for all company and product brand standards, including but not limited to websites, sales sheets, presentation decks, and RFP templates
Work inside BrandFolder® DAM system to maintain all design and video assets for B2B, and Cars Commerce brands for sales
Maintain OEM brand standards to ensure all sales and marketing assets meet compliance requirements for OEM program participation
Leadership:
Act as a leader, facilitator, and influencer across Cars Commerce to gain support for plans and programs, negotiating conflicts as necessary and keeping all stakeholders informed and engaged
Act as an SME of the Cars Commerce product lineup and voice of the Cars Commerce brand
Act as an ambassador and delegate to the larger Cars Commerce organization, working convivially with all organizations and representatives to build a more integrated Cars Commerce team
Oversee the web design department by hiring, training, assigning, scheduling, and mentoring staff
Ensure team adheres to current processes, identifies opportunities for improvement, and proposes and creates processes and tools to support design operations
REQUIRED SKILLS
Big thinking to help tell the right story that connects with both everyday users and Cars Commerce dealer customers
Obsessive attention to detail to ensure that every deliverable is pixel-perfect
Vision for multiple visual brands across assets in a highly matrixed organization
High proficiency with Photoshop®, Figma™, Google Slides, and BrandFolder™
High proficiency with designing and wireframing for digital mediums
Mobile-first web design best-practices and workflows
Commanding knowledge of video production and development solutions for motion-driven digital storytelling
Unrivaled product knowledge of Cars Commerce subbrands and their respective features
Strong leadership skills and the ability to thrive in a fluid and fast-paced environment
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and analytics skills
Patience and courtesy in both accepting and delivering feedback from stakeholders and teammates
