Sales Representative - PARIS

We're seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team operating in the Paris area. The position is based in Paris and mainly covers the 91, 94 and three 75 UGAs.

About the role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, who will support you in your training, integration and development within the company, you will be responsible for developing the company's sales and catalog sales in your area, with the following 3 objectives

  • Make a difference for diabetic patients by developing One Touch brand products and services with our existing and prospective contacts and customers (medical and paramedical professionals endocrinologists, nurses, etc.).
  • Manage your sector in line with defined objectives and reporting in terms of frequency and coverage
  • Know your environment through product knowledge and regular competitive intelligence
  • Work in collaboration with our Inside sales team

Responsibilities

  • Interact with stakeholders operating in the territory or business partners, ensuring the most effective management of existing and potential customers.
  • Visiting existing and potential customers Diabetes Services at Hospitals, Polyclinics, Private Nursing Homes, Universities and Local Health Authorities and Retail channel.
  • Managing pharmacies managing assigned pharmacies and developing potential client pharmacies.
  • Responsible for reporting to the systems in charge the tracking of activities carried out, sample unloading, expense management according to established methods and timing.
  • Carry out duties with responsibility, diligence, care of company and common property, in accordance with company guidelines and HCC procedures.


Required skills

To be successful in this role you will need to have In-depth knowledge of the target market, products, customers and competition. Along with the ability to remain open-minded and flexible when presented with different perspectives and new information

Together with

  • Consultative Selling Using the AIDINC process, asks probing questions to gain a full understanding of customer needs and objections, and provides solutions clearly linked to customer needs. Summarizes with the customer and closes effectively in all calls asking for the business
  • Remote Selling Demonstrates basic understanding and makes use of the various methods available to engage with a customer (phone, Zoom, video messaging, text).
  • Knowledge of Diabetes, OT Products and Competition Demonstrates thorough understanding of diabetes, pathophysiology, treatment options, risks and complications, and can draw distinctions between OneTouch and competitor products during sales activities.
  • Territory Management Develops territory plans leveraging available analytics. Manages resources (e.g. samples) effectively. Meets reach & frequency expectations.
  • Relationship Building Demonstrates the ability to form a network of relationships and adds value to relationships through use of facts, direct persuasion, and knowledge of the disease state.
  • Change Leadership Adjusts quickly and positively to necessary changes in ways of working or thinking about the business.
  • Digital skills.
