Job description

• Business Development
Find & develop qualified leads (cold calling), and convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers.
Continuously keep the sales pipeline full with deals at various types and stages, including fresh/new (qualified) leads/introductions, and mid and late-stage sales life cycle targets. The ideal sales pipeline will always be full of a wide variety of account types, company sizes, diversified industries

• Customer Engagement
o Engage as per plan with prospects and customers to present the company services,
o Always nurturing relationships up the value stream (value added role). Advocates for both the company and the customer, striving to find win-win solutions that expand and further client relationships
o Take the support of the team leader & build a good customer base
o Act as a consultant for customers and understand his business to expand the wallet share.
Customer onboarding with BES

• Sales visit plan
o Create a sales visit plan for self-covering the assigned territory through a weekly/monthly calendar to qualified prospects and existing customers.
o Weekly/monthly sales visit summary details are to be submitted to Team leaders.

• Marketing strategies
o Create a marketing plan for direct shipper total logistic solution.
o Explore new verticals by commodity or biz type viz Air, LCL, Imports, SCM, and create marketing plans.

• Credit management and recoveries
o Execute Credit agreements through a customer validation process.
o Recovery of customer DSO and overdue.
o Dispute management and resolution within 48 hours.
