Business Development Manager

We’re looking for a full-time Business Development Manager (Account Manager) with a strong consultative sales approach to drive VanderHouwen’s expansion into new markets and fuel company growth. This role is remote for candidates based in Dallas, Fort Worth, or Houston, Texas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven sales success in the staffing industry.
- Expertise in crafting staffing and hiring solutions for companies of all sizes through a consultative approach.
- 5+ years of experience in outside sales, including developing and maintaining client relationships, negotiating service contracts, and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to execute high-volume outbound sales efforts—including sourcing, cold calling, and qualifying potential decision-makers.
- Skilled in conducting market research to identify and qualify target accounts in Dallas, Houston, and surrounding markets.
- Strong understanding of regional and national market trends to anticipate client needs.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Goal-oriented, team player with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- High integrity and commitment to delivering exceptional client service while prioritizing their best interests.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships in Dallas, Houston, and surrounding areas using a consultative sales approach.
- Present and sell VanderHouwen’s staffing solutions to both new and existing clients.
- Develop and execute a strategic market expansion plan to build a pipeline of potential clients and drive revenue.
- Negotiate service contracts and fees with clients.
- Deliver customized business presentations addressing clients’ staffing needs.
- Actively network in the local business community to promote VanderHouwen’s brand, attending professional events and industry gatherings.
