Position Overview


Index Analytics is seeking a Salesforce Senior Business Analyst to support Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area. The Senior Business Process Analyst will collaborate with our customers to define product requirements, develop a product understanding, and communicate effectively to both business and technical audiences to deliver solutions.


Responsibilities

 

  • Identify and validate clients’ business needs and Salesforce application requirements
  • Support project managers with managing the client relationship and deliverables
  • Work with stakeholders to define product vision and Salesforce application requirements
  • Attend requirements gathering meetings with the client to identify business needs, functional and system requirements
  • Collaborate with the development and testing team to ensure implementation of the needed business, functional and system requirements
  • Provide regular and open communication across the program and stakeholders for transparency and awareness of progress and impediments
  • Understand, visualize, and manage upstream/downstream dependencies
  • Drive delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity
  • Communicate requirements to developers, testers, and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate product functionality to stakeholders
Qualifications

  • US citizen, or lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years with an ability to obtain Public Trust level clearance
  • Previous experience with Salesforce preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of overall work experience including at least 4 years of experience managing requirements and backlog. Prior experience with Center for Medicare Medicaid Services or other Govt agencies is a plus
  • Agile certifications preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to break down complex requirements into actionable work items
  • Knowledge and experience of Agile software development methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to work with engineering and analytics teams to discuss technical concepts, make tradeoffs to remove roadblocks, and evaluate new ideas
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication required

 

The salary range provided represents the estimated compensation for new hires in this position, applicable across all locations. Actual offers may vary based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and market conditions. Index complements its base salary offering with a competitive package that includes health and retirement benefits, discretionary bonuses, and reimbursement for professional development opportunities.
