A Salesforce Administrator plays a crucial role in managing and customizing the Salesforce platform to meet the specific needs of the organization. This role involves a mix of technical, business, and communication skills. The Salesforce Administrator will also function as a project manager for integration projects.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, and public groups.
Configure and maintain the Salesforce environment, including custom fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules and other customizations to support business requirements.
Oversee data integrity within Salesforce, including data import, export, cleanup, and deduplication processes.
Customizing Salesforce to fit the organization’s needs using declarative tools and coordinating with developers for more complex customizations requiring Apex or Visualforce coding.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to business users.
Managing the integration of Salesforce with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
Resolve user support tickets.
Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders.
Support team members and monitor user adoption of Salesforce tools in the organization.
Provide ongoing user training and create training materials as needed.
Responsible for tracking and managing compliance related tasks.
Track, manage, and deploy change sets.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration is preferred.
2-5 years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
A proven track record of successfully implementing and optimizing Salesforce solutions to meet business needs.
Salesforce Administrator Certification is required.
Experience with integrating Salesforce with other business systems using APIs and third-party integration tools.
Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems.
Exceptional ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases.
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities.
Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot issues, think critically and provide solutions.
Skills in managing projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
Strong analytical skills to interpret business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
