Job Summary
A Salesforce Administrator plays a crucial role in managing and customizing the Salesforce platform to meet the specific needs of the organization. This role involves a mix of technical, business, and communication skills. The Salesforce Administrator will also function as a project manager for integration projects.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, and public groups.
  • Configure and maintain the Salesforce environment, including custom fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules and other customizations to support business requirements.
  • Oversee data integrity within Salesforce, including data import, export, cleanup, and deduplication processes.
  • Customizing Salesforce to fit the organization’s needs using declarative tools and coordinating with developers for more complex customizations requiring Apex or Visualforce coding.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to business users.
  • Managing the integration of Salesforce with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
  • Resolve user support tickets.
  • Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders.
  • Support team members and monitor user adoption of Salesforce tools in the organization.
  • Provide ongoing user training and create training materials as needed.
  • Responsible for tracking and managing compliance related tasks.
  • Track, manage, and deploy change sets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration is preferred.
  • 2-5 years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing and optimizing Salesforce solutions to meet business needs.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification is required.
  • Experience with integrating Salesforce with other business systems using APIs and third-party integration tools.
  • Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems.
  • Exceptional ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, think critically and provide solutions.
  • Skills in managing projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
