Middle Legal Counsel

We are seeking a talented Middle Legal Counsel to become a valued member of our Legal Team and grow alongside us professionally.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience (experience in IT/iGaming and international spheres will be a big plus);
• English B2+ (including legal drafting);
• Bachelor/Master Degree in Law or International Law;
• Command of Ukrainian legislation;
• Basic knowledge of KYC procedure;
• Ability to support operations with international element and non-residents.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive support for the legal operations and day-to-day activities of the companies, under the supervision of the manager, to ensure seamless and compliant business functions;
• Facilitating communication with business partners, law firms, agents, service providers both in Ukraine and across multiple jurisdictions to address legal matters and maintain productive relationships;
• Legal paperwork - drafting, reviewing, and refining a variety of legal documents, including contracts, policies and regulations, terms and conditions, corporate and internal documents, questionnaires, applications, complaints, forms, letters, powers of attorney, etc., ensuring they align with legal and business requirements (Ukraine and worldwide);
• Conducting detailed research and analysis to identify potential legal risks in the jurisdictions where the company operates, offering actionable insights and solutions;
• Assisting in the development and implementation of legal compliance frameworks in key areas of business operations, such as data protection, marketing, payments, etc.
• Performing in-depth analysis of legislation across various jurisdictions, particularly in relation to AML regulations and licensing requirements;
• Conducting thorough due diligence processes (review and verification of received documentation) including KYC assessments, on clients and business counterparts to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risks.
