About the Role

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Senior Producer to join the Scoop City podcast. Reporting to the show’s executive producer, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process of our podcast, developing engaging stories and segments, coaching show talent, and ensuring that each episode is of the highest quality. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with audio and video podcasts, YouTube, and be passionate about social media and the NFL.

This is 100% remote for candidates currently residing in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Show Production: Oversee the production process from participating in pre-production planning to final delivery. Help manage scheduling, coordination, and logistics to ensure smooth episode execution.
  • Rundown Creation: Develop detailed episode rundowns that outline segment order, timing, and content flow. Collaborate with the Executive Producer and our newsroom to ensure content is engaging, on-brand, and timely. 
  • Content Research & Segment Development: Conduct thorough research to identify compelling topics and trends relevant to our audience. Create segments that add value and drive listener engagement.
  • Editing & Post-Production: Edit horizontal video clips to produce high-quality content for YouTube and social media. Ensure consistency in style and sound quality across all segments and platforms.
  • Digital Media & Social Integration: Work closely with the social media team to adapt content for various platforms. Optimize video clips, including titling and thumbnails, for distribution on YouTube and other social channels.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with hosts, guests, and team members to gather content and feedback.

  • Requirements
  • Proven experience in podcast production, video editing, and social media content creation.
  • Proficiency with audio and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) as well as streaming programs (Riverside, Streamyard, or similar).
  • Strong research skills and the ability to develop creative content segments.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with YouTube platform dynamics and social media best practices.
  • A passion for the NFL and fluency with the important names, organizations, and trends shaping the game. 
  • Experience in creating content that drives audience engagement and growth highly preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment highly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving project needs highly preferred.
  • The annual base salary range for this role is $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 USD. The total compensation offered for this position may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location. It may also include non-cash rewards and benefits. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
