We are a business-to-business support service for independent mental healthcare businesses, which helps provider-members service a growing client base. We provide administrative and organizational services to simplify the processes of lead-generation, marketing, billing and collecting payments from patients and insurers. Our teams currently support over 1,500 independent mental health providers, who serve over 20,000 clients per week across 15 locations in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington as well as virtually via Telehealth.

About the Role 

We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Warehouse Developer to join our team. The developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse to support our business intelligence initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions that drive strategic decision-making. 

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • 4-5 years of data warehouse development experience preferred, with 5+ years of SQL development and data warehousing experience, and a proven track record of delivering production-grade data pipelines in a cloud environment. 
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions in Azure data services (Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, Synapse, etc.). 
  • Experience with Azure-based BI solutions such as Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Blob Storages, and Data Lakes. 
  • Proficiency in data integration and ETL/ELT tools, preferably in an Azure environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques, including star and snowflake schemas. 
  • Programming skills in SQL Server and MS BI (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS). 
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, including query optimization, row level security, indexing strategies and Dynamic Data Masking (DDM).  
  • Experience with Power BI in building self-serve BI solutions, canned reports, and enterprise-level BI solutions. 
  • Strong DAX skills for creating complex measures and calculated columns. 
  • Experience in designing slowly changing dimensions. 
  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and prior experience with healthcare data is highly preferred. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective datasets that drive strategic decision-making. 
  • Monitor and fine-tune business intelligence tools to ensure optimal performance. 
  • Experience with Python is a plus. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power BI, etc.) are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
