About the Role 

As our Affiliate Manager, you will be responsible for leading the online sales strategy for AdStart Media’s Affiliate Program. This position plays a key role in recruiting and managing top affiliates, building strong relationships with them, and optimizing each affiliate’s performance to drive results.

You will need to rely on your expertise in affiliate marketing to develop and execute strategies that maximize revenue, enhance user acquisition, and ensure affiliates are achieving their goals. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams to promote high-performing offers, troubleshoot challenges, and provide ongoing support to affiliates to help them succeed.

Mission Statement:

The primary mission of our Affiliate Manager is to drive the growth and success of AdStart Media’s Affiliate Program. This will involve working directly with our affiliates, building and nurturing strong relationships with them, optimizing their performance, setting and managing revenue growth goals, and implementing data-driven strategies to maximize results for our clients.

General responsibilities:

The responsibilities of our Affiliate Manager include the following:

  • Managing AdStart Media’s Affiliate Program and overseeing its growth and success
  • Recruiting and onboarding top affiliates in relevant niches
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our affiliates and partners
  • Regularly consulting with affiliates to help them optimize their performance and promote additional products or services as needed
  • Setting, managing, and achieving revenue growth goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Optimizing affiliate performance to ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded
  • Implementing data-driven strategies to maximize ROI and KPI metrics for our clients
  • Creating and maintaining detailed performance reports to track metrics and communicate results
  • Collaborating with internal teams to identify and promote high-performing offers
  • Negotiating custom payout models with affiliates
  • Screening affiliates for the purposes of fraud prevention and compliance
  • Training and mentoring junior team members to foster affiliate network growth
  • Attending trade shows and networking events to build relationships and close new deals
  • Monitoring industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities to identify ways that AdStart Media’s Affiliate Program can stay ahead of the curve

Overall, the Affiliate Manager will play an important role in driving the continued growth and success of AdStart Media’s Affiliate Program. By managing relationships, optimizing affiliate performance, and implementing data-driven strategies, you will help ensure that our Affiliate Program remains competitive.

Position specifications:

The Affiliate Manager position includes committing to the following:

  • Full-time commitment with a 40 work hours per week (8 hours work day)
  • Working in a European timezone while being available during our general office hours

You are proactive and resourceful while excelling at building lasting relationships with affiliates and partners.

You should be able to work independently with high levels of reliability, transparency, and trust. You also need the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple affiliates in our Affiliate Program. 

The ideal person for this role is someone who can work fast and efficiently, has excellent communication and negotiation skills, and takes a proactive and results-oriented approach to their work. In addition, good organizational, time management, analytical, and interpersonal skills will help you succeed in this position and work well within our team environment.

Key requirements:

The Affiliate Manager position has the following key requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in affiliate marketing or media buying
  • A proven track record of successfully managing affiliate programs, achieving revenue growth targets, and exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Mobile Measurement Platforms (including AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Kochava)
  • Experience with Affiliate Tracking Platforms (including Affise, HasOffers, Cake, or Voluum)
  • Excellent knowledge of different traffic types and knowledge of CPI business models (including how they impact and drive results for different products)
  • A strong understanding of online marketing and affiliate marketing strategies and best practices
  • Strong sales, negotiation, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • An ability to track, analyze, and generate reports using Microsoft Suite or Google Workspace
  • A highly organized work ethic with good time management skills
  • An ability to manage and mentor junior team members in a positive manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (You must be fluent in English, although English doesn't have to be your native language)
  • A proactive attitude with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Familiarity with working autonomously and managing your own time independently and effectively
  • Being open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism and improving on it
  • Must be available and responsive during our office hours (European timezone)
  • Must be able to consistently work full-time
