We are looking for a Support Services Specialist/Project Manager to prioritize daily responsibilities based on deadlines and importance.

Curateis a foodservice industry manufacturers’ rep group specializing in commercial kitchens, restaurant and bar equipment, and tabletop supplies. Working at three different levels, we provide high-end manufacturers with a team of sales and marketing professionals, commercial equipment dealers with expert knowledge and end-users with a consultative industry experience. 


LOCATION:

While this is a Fully Remote position, residing in the METRO NY, NJ, Eastern PA area is a benefit.  A large portion of the customer base is in this geographic area.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Support Services Specialist/Project manager’s job is to manage and prioritize daily responsibilities based on deadlines and importance.  Their job is to manage and support key accounts in collaboration with the Field Sales Consultants, be a liaison between Curate customers and factories, research and analyze quotes & specifications and provide accurate quotes in a timely manner meeting deadlines and provide support on other job duties as assigned.

 

This position is a ‘computer-centric’ position with a high volume of both written/email as well as phone conversation.  

 

GENERAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage designated customer base.  Management includes providing support with product inquiries, quotations, orders, sample requests, order shipments, order deliveries, freight issues, return requests and any other part of the purchasing process.
  • Respond to customers via phone or e-mails throughout the business day.
  • Assist with general administrative duties.
  • Assist with monthly factory sales reports, sales pipelines & spreadsheets.
  • Utilize AutoQuotes to create, update and send quotations including freight estimates, lead times, current availability, and any upcoming price increases.
  • Manage overflow of large bid projects including reviewing specified equipment for accuracy & potential issues, offering alternates, gathering & including custom factory quotes, negotiating special pricing for projects when applicable, managing revisions & price increase as time passes.  Work with key customers on specifications and filing spec credits/registrations. 
  • Back-up for order processing when main individual is on vacation.
  • Be trained on all lines to be able to quote all items.
  • Inside support for Northeast Region (Curate East) accounts.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Foodservice Industry Knowledge & Experience
  • Quoting Experience mandatory, – AutoQuotes Software experience preferred
  • Computer Skills (Proficient in all programs of Office 365 Programs)
  • Excellent communication & writing skills (both phone and written communications)
  • Self-starter who can manage their time and workload.

The salary range for this position is: $60,000 to $75,000.
