The Opportunity/Role 📢

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Territory Sales Manager to join our Multi- Utilities division. Reporting to the Head of Multi-Utility, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development of relationships with Multi-Utility contractors and partners to maintain project pipeline, ensuring future growth and maximising sales and profit.

Patch: South- Colchester- Plymouth

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and win new business and grow existing business to maximize profit & product mix.

  • Develop and maintain in depth knowledge of market sector, especially relating to market trends, opportunities, threats, and competitors’ activities

  • Develop close relationships with identified customer influencers to add value and ensure continued customer loyalty.

  • Complete and submit sales reports and associated administrative tasks accurately and on time

  • Establish, maintain and develop a detailed and relevant target customer and project portfolio. Fully utilizing the CRM system to ensure all relevant data is up to date each day

  • Attend Regional Sales meetings to ensure the team are fully updated on your activities

  • Grow In depth knowledge of UK MU, water & gas market and competitor’s product range and offering.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in a Multi utility sector- working for a Distributor, Manufacturer or Contractor.

  • Full UK Driving License with ability to travel and stay away when required

  • Good IT skills including usage of Dynamics CRM or similar system

  • Knowledge of PE Pipe Systems for Water & Gas applications preferably

  • Experience of formulating and implementing an objective based plan

  • Self-disciplined to be able to work using their own initiative

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software applications

  • Can demonstrate excellent planning and organizational skills

  • Experience in managing customer accounts  

  • Experienced in delivering new business through prospecting with new and existing customers

  • Ability to prioritize workload and activities effectively

  • Able to present at group gatherings to peers and customers
