Job description

The Project Manager oversees CarepathRx Health System Solutions' (CHSS) systems and solution implementation projects. The project manager leads to deliver reliable, on-time, on-budget programs that meet the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and exposure in the pharmacy business space, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage IT projects, including defining project scope, goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure project delivery.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure deliverables meet business needs.
  • Monitor and report project progress and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and direction as needed.
  • The Project Manager will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • The role requires strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a flexible, remote work environment, with occasional on-site meetings and collaborations.
  • The role may require occasional travel to project sites or client locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Skills & Abilities

  • Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and applications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Familiarity with project management software/tools.
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and pharmacy practices (Specialty and Infusion Pharmacy preferred).


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • Healthcare and/or systems implementation experience.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy practices (Specialty and Infusion Pharmacy preferred).
