Job Title: Financial Accountant
Location: Remote (PST Time Zone)
Salary Range: up to 2500 USD

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (PST)

Sagan represents a fast-paced media and content company looking for a Financial Accountant to support daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial tasks, ensuring accuracy, and helping streamline processes.

Position Overview:

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for maintaining daily financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cash bookings and maintain accurate financial records.
Conduct daily credit card reconciliations.
Allocate daily labor costs across different departments.
Assist with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.
Utilize Excel, Sage, and Microsoft Office to manage financial data.
Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding financial matters.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all accounting tasks.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts.
Experience of 2-3 years minimum in accounting role.
Experience using Excel, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, etc.) and Sage (preferred).
Highly detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities.
Proactive, communicative, and a team player.
Reliable and efficient in completing tasks independently.

Nice-to-Haves:

Proficiency in Excel functions (SUMIFS, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
Experience working in a fast-paced media or entertainment industry.
