About the role:

Gen3 is looking for a Training Specialist to support our client, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). As a Training Specialist, you'll support dashboard/visualization efforts and the Vulnerability Implementation/Remediation efforts for the ISSM. The Training Specialist must also be knowledgeable in adult learning theory and principles.

Location: Remote in Lanham, MD.

What you'll do:

  • Implement an ADDIE-based training approach.
  • Identify and tailor training for specific audiences, including individual contributors, managers, and senior leadership.
  • Create training artifacts and conduct end-user training for the ISSM community.
  • Develop and report on metrics, detailing training attendance and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present training material for newly implemented processes, workflows, applications, etc.
  • Ensure all training materials are 508 compliant, clear, concise, and error-free.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
