Cluster Director, Revenue Management

SUMMARY 

The Corporate Director, Revenue Management is accountable for assisting in maximizing revenue (RevPar) through system, channel, reporting and strategy/project management for the hotel – with a goal to not only increase revenues but also to gain market share penetration across multiple units.  This position is defined as having responsibility for between 1-3 properties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

Job duties include, although not limited to:

    • Analyze and monitor demand  
  • Ability to Influence, Lead, Communicate & display Big Picture Thinking in a Flexible manner
  • Ability to focus and deliver Strategically and Tactically through sound Yield/Selling/Pricing/Merchandising/Distribution strategies and tactics
  • Ability to Educate and Train on all aspects of the discipline as defined in point 1
  • Ability to asses and Manage 3rd party partners
  • Ability to develop accurate financial rooms Forecasts within 5% and Budgets and achieve those targets
  • Ability to prepare daily, weekly, monthly, annual and ADHOC reporting
  • Ability to Audit, Measure Performance and establish Goals
  • Ability to Manage and Oversee a Reservations Team/Department
  • Ability to Collaborate, Liaise and Direct the Revenue Team
  • Ability to demonstrate core knowledge of Sales, Marketing, Operations and Communications and how they interact with Revenue Management 
  • Ability to manage all of the above for multiple assets with equal measure and focus
  • Responsibility for and management of additional properties as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High school or equivalent education required 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of hotel supervisory or management experience 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Revenue Management or related discipline experience required 
  • Strong relationship skills to communicate successfully with travel agents, OTAs, other industry partners, and any other initiative supporting a successful reservations and yield management model 
  • Must be able to perform in a fast, ever changing market 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity to fulfill tasks. Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment.          

The pay scale for the Cluster Director, Revenue Management is $155,00.00 to $165,000.00. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
