Clinical Marketing Manager, US Molecular Diagnostics (Remote)

Job Description Summary

The Clinical Marketing Manager is responsible for executing BD’s clinical marketing strategies to drive awareness, education, and adoption of our molecular diagnostics solutions in women’s health and cervical cancer prevention. This role focuses on marketing tactical execution across four key areas:

Provider & Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement – Support educational initiatives, speaker programs, and KOL development strategies.
Clinical Messaging & Content Development – Support and distribute impactful provider-facing marketing materials.
Clinical Commercial Support – Ensure alignment between marketing, sales, clinical field teams, and other stakeholders.
Market Shaping & Competitive Intelligence – Support strategic initiatives to strengthen BD’s leadership in molecular diagnostics.
This is a marketing (non-sales) role requiring a balance of marketing execution expertise, provider engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have marketing experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or MedTech.

Key Responsibilities:

Provider & KOL Engagement

  • Support regional and national KOL engagement programs, including speaker programs, webinars, and professional society collaborations.

  • Manage and coordinate KOL involvement in BD’s marketing programs, advisory boards, and educational initiatives.

  • Attend national and regional conferences to execute BD’s presence, engage providers, and gather competitive intelligence.

Clinical Messaging & Content Development

  • Develop and adapt marketing materials (training decks, FAQs, and digital content) to align with BD’s clinical messaging.

  • Translate scientific and clinical data into compelling, actionable messaging for healthcare providers.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, regulatory, global public health, and commercial teams, to ensure message consistency and compliance.

  • Leverage omnichannel strategies (webinars, blogs, videos, and professional forums) to amplify key clinical messages.

Commercial Support & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Align marketing efforts with sales and field teams by providing targeted clinical marketing assets.

  • Support training initiatives to ensure commercial teams are equipped with accurate, impactful messaging.

  • Partner with and support clinical specialists, field sales teams, and other BD business units to ensure a unified approach to clinical engagement.

Market Shaping & Competitive Intelligence

  • Support strategic marketing initiatives to position BD as a leader in HPV screening and molecular diagnostics.

  • Support BD’s involvement with professional societies and guideline committees to influence the standard of care.

  • Gather and synthesize competitive intelligence from the field to refine messaging and commercial strategy.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 2-5 years in marketing execution (healthcare, diagnostics, MedTech), provider engagement, or commercial support in healthcare/diagnostics.

  • RN, NP, or PA with clinical experience in women’s health, infectious diseases, or molecular diagnostics (preferred).

  • Strong ability to translate clinical data and updated clinical guidelines into compelling marketing materials for healthcare providers and laboratorians.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent project management skills to juggle multiple priorities.

  • Strong ability to collaborate across functions, including marketing, sales, clinical teams, and KOLs.

  • Comfortable with public speaking, networking, and presenting at industry events.

  • Ability to travel up to 50-60% for provider meetings, conferences, and commercial support.

$99,700.00 - $164,300.00 USD Annual
