Job description

EyeCarePro is a leading provider of online services to the optometry industry, dedicated to enhancing the digital presence of eyecare professionals. We are searching for a talented Website Administrator to join our growing global team. This role will play a vital part in optimizing and maintaining our client websites while ensuring a positive user experience.

The Web Administrator is responsible for developing and optimizing web strategies to enhance user experience, boost conversion rates, and drive overall digital performance. This role requires expertise in web analytics, UX/UI best practices, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure web projects align with the organizations digital marketing and business goals.

The Web Administrator will own the design presentation of the website, ensuring all elements, images, and flow are consistent with the clients brand and strategy, while adhering to best practices for maximum impact.

Position Details:

  • Full-time, remote, 
  • 9 AM to 5 PM EST, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
  • Web Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive web strategies, including website redesigns, optimization efforts, and A/B testing to improve user experience and increase conversion rates.
  • User Experience (UX) Optimization: Oversee and improve user experience by implementing UX best practices, wireframing, and collaborating with designers and developers for user-centric design.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize web analytics, heatmaps, and user testing data to identify areas for improvement and optimize web performance, refining strategies for better user engagement and conversion.
  • SEO and Content Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with SEO and content teams to align web strategies with organic search goals, optimizing site structure, content layout, and navigation for improved performance.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Lead initiatives to increase website conversion rates through A/B testing, multivariate testing, and personalization strategies, while analyzing conversion funnels and optimizing pages for better user retention.
  • Web Performance and Technical Optimization: Ensure the website's technical health by optimizing speed, mobile usability, and search engine crawlability, working with developers to address issues related to Core Web Vitals and technical SEO.
  • Project Management and Execution: Manage the execution of web strategy projects, working cross-functionally with design, development, content, and marketing teams to ensure timely and within-scope delivery.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for web-related projects, ensuring alignment between business goals and web strategy. Present strategic insights and performance reports to senior leadership and clients.
  • Web Governance and Compliance: Ensure all web strategies and updates comply with best practices, including accessibility (WCAG), privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and overall web governance.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Technical and Strategic Skills:

    • Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
    • Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices and experience with wireframing and prototyping.
    • Expertise in A/B testing and familiarity with CRO tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO).
    • Solid understanding of technical SEO principles and experience collaborating with developers.
    • Experience managing web projects from start to finish using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for presenting web strategies and performance data.
    • Problem-solving ability with a focus on innovation and optimization.
    • Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning in web technologies and digital marketing.
  • Experience:

    • 5-7 years of web strategy or digital marketing experience with a proven track record of improving user experience and conversion rates.
