In this pivotal role, you will drive clinical excellence, patient safety, and service innovation, ensuring the highest standards of care. You’ll lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams, develop robust clinical strategies, and work closely with key stakeholders to continuously improve services.

What You'll Do:

• Provide strong, visible and strategic managerial and professional leadership to the Heads of Services, acting as a role model for clinical staff, positively influencing staff and encouraging innovation
• Develop and embed processes that ensure all Centres maintain safe and appropriate staffing levels, that concerns are escalated, and issues rectified in a timely manner
• Provide a professional clinical perspective on service development, delivery and corrective actions required
• Attend Risk and Safety (weekly) and SQLF (monthly) meetings, ensuring key findings are actioned and shared appropriately

Experience and skills:

• Proven experience operating at a senior clinical leadership level, with demonstrable success in meeting financial and performance targets.
• Strong track record of driving improvements in clinical governance, risk management, and patient safety.
• Extensive experience in leading organisational change and embedding service transformation initiatives.
• Ability to interpret complex clinical and operational data, translating insights into meaningful actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing at all levels.
• Ability to work effectively within a matrix structure, collaborating across multiple business units and global teams.
• Proven ability to inspire and empower teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
