As an Accounting Analyst, you will play a key role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions. You will be responsible for recording transactions, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. Working in our international technology company, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate financial records, streamline accounting processes, and optimize reporting efficiency. The right candidate will leverage their expertise in financial analysis and accounting standards to support decision-making, improve financial accuracy, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability.
- Download, acknowledge receipt, and record purchase invoices, and prepare and submit the supporting document to the DIAN.
- Register expenses, cash receipts, and reconciliations.
- Review payroll and social benefits.
- Prepare sales invoices with the required supporting documents.
- Reconcile the accounts payable module, accounting records, DIAN portal, and billing system.
- Record expenses paid with credit cards and petty cash reimbursements.
- Prepare working papers for tax submissions.
- Create vendors and third parties in the accounting system.
- Reconcile accounting accounts.
- Record and classify accounting transactions in the ERP systems used by the company.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of accounting records.
- Assist in recording payroll transactions and updates in the ERP system.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and tax filings.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the proper flow of financial information.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in technology companies or multinational corporations.
- Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP) and local tax regulations.
- Preferably familiar with SIIGO Cloud (Desirable).
- Proficiency in office tools, especially advanced Excel.
- Intermediate English level.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain the confidentiality of financial information.
