Job description

Remote-First

As the AI Adoption Sales Lead at Mindstone, you will spearhead our sales initiatives, focusing on expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. This role requires a blend of strategic sales planning, client relationship management, and negotiation skills to boost Mindstone's market presence and revenue. Reporting to the CEO, you will have the overall responsibility for increasing our sales activities, crafting effective sales strategies, and achieving our quarterly sales targets.

An expert-led and consultative sell by nature, Mindstone's practical AI community (the biggest in the world) should provide a great platform from which to start, while exploring the best avenues for growth.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed Mindstone's revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding client needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the CEO and other executives to align sales strategies with business goals.
  • Regularly report on sales results and forecast future sales, providing insights to guide decision-making.
  • Expertly negotiate and close deals, maximizing revenue while maintaining Mindstone's interests and values.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and business opportunities to enhance Mindstone's market position.
  • Deeply understand Mindstone's product offerings and articulate their value proposition to clients and partners.
  • Leverage the latest sales technology (including AI) and methodologies to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills & Traits
  • Use and be able to talk about how you use AI in your job every day in various ways.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable sales plans.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets, preferably in a similar industry or a tech startup.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at building relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use data to inform sales strategy and decisions.
  • A natural ability to understand and meet customer needs, building long-term client relationships.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing deals.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to adapt quickly to change.
  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams and contributes to a positive team environment.
  • Experience in an expertise-led, consultative sales environment
  • Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to Mindstone's success.
  • Worked in small teams (under 10) before.
