Director of Sales – AI infrastructure, East coast

Location - Remote/WFH

This is 100% Remote role with travel to customers as needed.

Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Greater Metro New York area.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic director of sales with a true hunter mentality and a strong history of success in technology sales. You will consistently generate new business while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing partners and customers. As a trusted advisor, you will navigate complex business and technology landscapes, effectively influencing key stakeholders at every level. Your expertise in penetrating new accounts will be complemented by your focus on creating long-term value, ensuring enduring success while building strong, lasting partnerships that drive sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Leading pipeline generation and revenue expansion across North America by targeting both existing enterprise accounts and creating new business opportunities.
  • Exceed Sales Objectives: Consistently outperform measurable sales targets, enhancing the DriveNets brand's visibility and market presence.
  • Engage Decision-Makers: Proactively meet with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-level executives to effectively present DriveNets’ unique value proposition.
  • Develop New Business: Identify, pursue, and secure new accounts by leveraging market insights and innovative sales strategies.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with marketing, product, and support teams to align strategies and ensure exceptional customer experiences throughout the sales cycle.

 


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent, with a minimum of 7 years of progressive technology sales experience focused on high-value, enterprise-level solutions.
  • Proven Sales Leadership: Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth through direct engagement with medium-large enterprise accounts.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with data center and networking technologies or AI/HPC clusters, with the ability to quickly assimilate complex technical concepts and articulate their value to diverse audiences.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid experience in one or more of the following domains: Networking, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, AI Infrastructure, or Cloud Computing. Familiarity with AI/HPC infrastructure product strategies is a significant plus.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to forge and maintain strong relationships at all organizational levels—from technical teams to C-suite executives.
  • North American Market Insight: A keen understanding of the North American AI infrastructure market dynamics, enabling the effective positioning and sale of cutting-edge AI solutions in a competitive landscape.
