As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department at Fullsteam, focusing on operations in both the US and Canada. This role will involve various tasks including Workday administration, compliance management, employee support, document drafting, and onboarding coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations in the Workday system, including data entry, employee updates, and generating reports.
  • Process HR transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the I-9 verification process, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to I-9 forms.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date employee files, both physical and electronic.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures. Provide timely and professional assistance, escalating issues as needed.
  • Prepare various HR documents including offer letters, employment contracts, and termination letters. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive HR information.
  • Supports preparation and submission of statutory reports, including ROEs
  • Collaborate with the onboarding coordinator to facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
  • Assist with new hire orientation, paperwork, and other onboarding tasks as needed.
  • Assist with audits and compliance reporting as necessary.
  • Continuously improve procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience with Workday preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees, management, and external stakeholders professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships with employees, demonstrating empathy and understanding in employee interactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in HR processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR administration or coordination role.
  • Experience working in a multi-national company is preferred.
  • HR certification is a plus.
