Regional People Operations (POPs) Manager 

Location: US Remote OR UK (flexible hours) 

Role Overview   

As the Regional People Operations Manager, you will manage core HR operational activities with a focus on regional compliance, benefits administration, and the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding. You will work closely with other regional HR managers to ensure consistency across global operations and provide input on compensation and benefits strategies. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with regional labor laws, while supporting the business with day-to-day HR operations. 

 
Key Responsibilities:

Operational HR Management:

  • Lead onboarding/offboarding and ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Administer local benefits programs and manage payroll contributions/deductions.
  • Address HR-related queries and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Track mandatory training programs and compliance requirements.

Regional Compliance Management:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and advise on regulations.
  • Implement HR processes with legal teams and conduct regular audits.

Global HR Collaboration:

  • Align HR practices across regions and participate in global initiatives.
  • Share best practices and assist in global compensation benchmarking.

Compensation and Benefits Strategy:

  • Provide insights into regional market trends for compensation strategies.
  • Review and update global benefits programs and support communication of packages.

Employee Data and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and provide HR reports.
  • Support internal and external HR audits.

Employee Relations and Performance Support:

  • Address employee relations issues and assist in performance management processes.

  

What You Bring to the Table: 

Skills & Abilities: 

  • Strong operational HR management experience, particularly in employee lifecycle management, benefits administration, compliance, and compensation. 
  • In-depth knowledge of regional labor laws and regulations. 
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working in global HR teams and contributing to cross-regional initiatives. 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously. 
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant systems. 
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to build and manage relationships across various levels of the organization. 

Experience:

  • Background in People Operations, HR Management, regional compliance, and compensation strategy. 

Education:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. 
  • SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
