Job description

The Role

Location: This role is fully remote within the US; we set a location because some job boards require it.

Purpose of the Recruiter Role

Kasa is looking for a Recruiter to join our People Operations team and provide full-cycle recruiting support across the entire organization. In this role, you will partner with hiring managers across all levels—from frontline team leads to the C-Suite—across the US, Latin America, and the Philippines to identify hiring needs, build interview plans, source and qualify candidates, drive the interview process, and negotiate offers. You'll leverage each hire as an opportunity to refine our process and elevate the candidate experience.

As part of a tight-knit and high-performing People Operations team, this role calls for a collaborative team player who is eager to step in wherever needed. Beyond recruitment, you'll contribute to broader PeopleOps functions like onboarding, vendor management, and other operational needs as they arise.

It is important to us that every hire connects with our vision, mission, and values. The ideal candidate is not only inspired by Kasa but also excited to share our story, while helping our team operate more efficiently as we grow.

Unleash your career potential at Kasa

We're building a tech-enabled global hospitality brand that unleashes the potential of liveable space. Hospitality is at the core of who we are, and we are committed to providing our teams the same care we give our guests, neighbors, and partners.

Required Qualifications
  • Talent Advisor: Lead discussions related to the hiring process and candidate slates, using data and experience to influence desired outcomes and encourage discussion of sensitive, sometimes contentious, topics. Confidently addresses process and compliance deficiencies and is viewed as a process expert who can educate and hold others accountable on critical skills in the process such as interviewing.
  • Versatile Contributor: Thrives in an environment where wearing many hats is the norm. Willingly steps outside of their primary role to support broader organizational goals, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach. Balances competing priorities while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude, always focused on what is best for the business.
  • Kasa Talent Agent: Mentors others who regularly interact with talent on behalf of Kasa to share best practices, resources, and tools to provide a compelling employee value proposition to prospective employees. Successfully attracts and closes talent for all positions in the organization.
  • Operational Precision: Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, speed, and attention to detail to manage the full cycle nature of recruiting work — from sourcing and screening to interview scheduling and offer coordination. Balances multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy, ensuring seamless execution of time-sensitive tasks.
  • Business Acumen: Has established credibility with hiring leaders in aligned departments by driving talent-related discussion in relevant business contexts and is viewed as a strategic advisor on all talent-related matters.
  • Employment Brand Champion: Confidently versed in Kasa’s company mission, values, and employment value proposition. Regularly engages in social platforms to promote Kasa’s employment brand and drive awareness and applicant activity.
  • Unparalleled Communication: Facilitates and promotes constructive dialogues, skillfully navigating diverse perspectives and opinions. Exhibits empathetic communication and tailors communication styles to suit varying contexts and audiences. Proficiently articulates the People team's programs, initiatives, metrics, and objectives to peers across departments, instilling confidence in their understanding.
  • Growth Mindset: Proactive and curious about building new levels of excellence in the department. Pioneers the establishment of an organizational culture that not only embraces but thrives on continuous learning, development, and enhancement.
Desired Qualifications
  • Sound Judgement: Confidently makes recommendations and decisions relative to a defined scope of responsibilities by applying critical thinking skills to evaluate risks and rewards; seeks the consultation and advice of manager prior to making decisions that have medium to high and/or cross-functional impacts.
  • High EQ: Recognized as an empathetic, credible lead that welcomes diverse perspectives from peers, partners and customers
