Due to continued accelerated growth, we are looking for a detail-oriented, creative, and strategic PRODUCT OWNER to join our Privileged Access Management team.

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our talented team at Netwrix. As a Product Owner, you will act as an individual contributor, playing a pivotal role in defining and prioritizing product features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. What You Will Do: 

• Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the overall product roadmap and business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, to gather and define detailed product requirements.  Ensure a clear understanding of user needs and expectations. 
• Work closely with the development team to clearly define features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.  Provide clear guidance on product functionality and design. 
• Contribute to release planning by prioritizing features, coordinating dependencies, and ensuring timely delivery of product increments. 
• Collaborate with engineering, design marketing, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive and successful product development process.
• Facilitate sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings with a security-focused mindset and ensuring that development stays on schedule.
• Work with QA teams to define test cases and acceptance criteria.  Ensure that delivered products meet the highest quality standards.
• Advocate for a positive user experience by working closely with UX/UI designers to align product features with user expectations and design principles. 
• Support the successful launch of product releases by coordinating marketing efforts, creating documentation, and providing training to relevant teams.
• The Product Owner ensures that releases meet business objectives and customer needs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the evolution of product development methodologies.
• Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on product development progress, challenges, and successes. 
• Contribute to the development of incident response plans and collaborate with incident response teams to enhance product security features.
• Work closely with compliance teams to ensure that products meet relevant cybersecurity standards and certifications. 
• Drive efforts to achieve and maintain certifications, such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2. 

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE IN THIS POSITION?

A successful Product Owner combines strategic thinking, effective collaboration with internal teams, delivery excellence, and a commitment to addressing the ever-evolving challenges in the cybersecurity landscape.  

• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product usage, user satisfaction, and the impact on improving cybersecurity defenses is crucial.
• A successful Product Owner adapts to changes quickly and embraces an agile mindset. This involves being responsive to emerging threats, incorporating feedback, and continuously iterating on products to stay ahead of evolving security challenges.
• A successful Product Owner pays attention to risk management and compliance. Ensuring that products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards is essential for building trust with customers and maintaining the company's reputation.
• Success involves fostering innovation within the product portfolio. This may include introducing new features, technologies, or approaches that differentiate the company's cybersecurity solutions from competitors and address emerging threats.
• The financial success of the products, including revenue growth and profitability, is a key metric. A successful Product Owner contributes to the financial health of the company by making strategic decisions that result in positive business outcomes.
• Staying informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices is crucial. A successful Product Owner engages in continuous learning and seeks opportunities for personal and team improvement.
• Timely delivery of high-quality cybersecurity products is a key success factor. This includes managing the product development lifecycle, ensuring that features and enhancements are delivered on schedule, and maintaining a focus on security and quality.
• A key indicator of success for the Product Owner is the ability to adapt to changing priorities and solving problems as they arise.   Successful Product Owners are proactive in addressing challenges and finding effective solutions. 
• Success involves maintaining a user-centric focus throughout the product development process.  The Product Owner ensures that delivered products align with user needs and contribute to a positive customer experience. 

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Owner or similar role in the computer network and security software industry.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and risk management.
• Familiarity with security standards, regulations, and compliance requirements. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Technical skills, with proficiency in: 
• Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.
