Job title: Customer Support Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Germany (Home Office Based)

Our clients in the field of R&D are mainly customers in the academic environment (chemistry, biology, geology, mineralogy, crystallography, physics, materials science, materials development) and the high-tech industry (pharmacy, life science, steel, cement, petrochemicals, semiconductors, solar).

In your new role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of our systems.

You Profile

  • Study of electrical engineering / electronics, physics, mechatronics or comparable degree
  • Experience in the configuration of computer systems and software
  • 3 years of experience in field service of analysis systems
  • Strong communication skills and goal orientation
  • Structured, self-sufficient, as well as self-motivated way of working
  • Analytical mindset
  • High willingness to travel locally and abroad
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Experience in dealing with X-ray technology or optical measuring systems is a plus
  • Excellent language skills in German and English

Ihr Profil

  • Studium der Elektrotechnik / Elektronik, Physik, Mechatronik oder vergleichbarer Abschluss
  • Erfahrung in der Konfiguration von Computersystemen und Software
  • 3 Jahre Erfahrung im Serviceaußendienst von Analysesystemen
  • Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Zielorientierung
  • Strukturierte, eigenständige, sowie selbstmotivierte Arbeitsweise
  • Analytische Denkweise
  • Hohe Reisebereitschaft im In- und Ausland
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Erfahrungen im Umgang mit optischen Messsystemen oder Röntgentechnologie sind ein Plus
  • Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch
