They are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Controller / Client Manager to join the team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial analysis, leadership, and client relationship management. You will be responsible for providing expert financial insights, guiding team members, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients.

What You'll Do
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot issues faced by clients or junior team members, offering practical solutions and guidance.    
  • Project Management: Manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and attention to detail. Delegate tasks effectively to team members, track progress, and ensure completion to high standards.    
  • Independent Thinking: Apply critical thinking to solve complex financial challenges and make strategic recommendations.   
  • Budgeting/Forecasting/Cash Flow Planning: Develop and refine budgets and forecasts to align with the client's financial goals and business strategies. Monitor and analyze cash flow trends to ensure financial health and stability for clients.   
  • Financial Analysis: Perform in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable insights to clients.   
  • Review and Oversight: Review the work of junior team members for accuracy, ensuring compliance with company standards and client expectations.    
  • Client Interaction: Conduct regular meetings with clients to review financial statements, provide insights, and address any concerns.    
  • Software: Proficient with QBO, Xero, and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.     

  • What You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or CPA/CFA preferred.    
  • Proven experience (5 years) in financial analysis and budgeting in a multi-client environment is preferred.    
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and metrics. Willingness to self-educate on the Strata tech stack, including QBO, Xero, Gusto, Bill, Teamwork, Slack, Expensify, Fathom, and other modern cloud accounting software.       
  • Restaurants, construction, and professional services experience a plus.      
  • Strong financial acumen with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.     
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.     
  • Ability to delegate, follow up, and ensure accountability within a team.        
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills for client-facing meetings and team collaboration.              
  • A proactive problem-solver with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Ability to identify process improvements utilizing technology.                
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.            
  • Self-starter with an independent, analytical mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.

  • The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with TLNT.          
  • Work from home.            
  • Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (+/- 1 hour accepted) - PST.
