Within a defined geographical territory, you will engage with new and existing customers to identify their clinical needs, goals and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how the company products can help them achieve their goals and meet patient needs. You will be dealing with key decision makers and influencers, you are responsible for developing and achieving sales activities geared to company and regional targets. You will assist and support in the launch of new products to the market or existing products to new markets. You will also actively contribute to increase the acceptance and usage of the Vascade products lines through the regular and efficient utilization of selling skills, clinical product knowledge, and the evaluation and identification of sales opportunity priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure customers are able to independently, safely and efficiently operate our products.
Provide clinical expertise to help ensure that our product lines reach standard of care levels within the assigned accounts and territories. Identify their clinical needs, goals and constraints related to patient care and provide creative and feasible solutions using company products.
Increase product usage at existing accounts and expand customer base through clinical education of new users and generate revenue growth.
Proactively train new and existing sales staff on all product and clinical aspects of the assigned products’ lines. Provide summary of training sessions and ensure follow up as needed.
Contribute to drive and expand existing business to include broadening application of our product lines within the account, achieving assigned sales AOP annually.
Proactively increase professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
Proactively visit assigned hospital accounts, identify and train clinical champions and establish relationships with key decision makers.
Provide product feedback to sales and marketing including customer feedback on product enhancements, service and policies through direct feedback as well as demonstration assessments and competitive developments.
Provide history by maintaining records on area of responsibility and customers in that area. (Use SF as CRM tool)
Participate in the pre-sell phase and demo the product to highlight benefits and importance to clinical practice. Knowledge of strength and weakness of competitive products in the portfolio
Day-to-day trouble shooting; report and resolve customer complaints and analyze customer needs by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations
Adheres to and follows Haemonetics policies and procedures and applies function related SOX requirements.
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong clinical orientation with the ability to influence a variety of clinicians, nurses, lab techs & personality types
