Description

We are looking for a candidate that is eager to demonstrate their ability to manage, coach, mentor, and motivate a team of driven Business Development Representatives. You should bring a proven record of accomplishment of success in achieving lead generation and pipeline targets and previous experience motivating teams. You will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and enablement groups to maximize pipeline creation. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business, leadership, and technical skills.
What you will do:
  • Maintain a strong focus on pipeline outcomes and impact.
  • Closely monitor metrics with a goal of increasing productivity.
  • Hire, onboard, and develop new Business Development Representatives (BDRs).
  • Develop the team’s skills for prospecting, qualifying, and opportunity creation.
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders including
    senior sales management, sales operations, channel management and
    marketing.
  • Align and collaborate with marketing in the creation, measurement and
    inspection of innovative demand generation programs and initiatives.
  • Work closely with sales managers and field sales to ensure proper alignment on
    account coverage, opportunity quality, and BDR to field sales hand-off.
  • Articulate Gigamon’s business value, and maintain in-depth knowledge of
    solutions, competitors, and industry trends.
What you have done:
  • 5-6 years in high tech inside sales environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct management experience, preferably a team of
    SDR/BDR’s.
  • Experienced in development of BDR training materials and call coaching skills.
  • Expert in using http://Salesforce.com and other sales tools/products to drive
    productivity.
  • Proven ability to effectively hire and train new BDRs.
  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Networking and security environments a plus!
