Title: Marketing Events Intern
Payroll Title: Events Support Coordinator

Job Status: Intern – Temporary Part-Time Hourly
Reports to: Director, Marketing-Education
Location: Remote – Anywhere in UT (preference for the Greater SLC area)
Compensation: Anticipated compensation for this position is $16.61/hour.*

Job Summary
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Event Intern to join our team! This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in gaining hands-on experience in event planning and management. As an Event Intern, you’ll support our events team in executing a range of exciting events.

This is a minimum 6 month and preferred 9 month and requires approximately 20 hours per week.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events
  • Coordinate event logistics, including vendor communication, and working directly with our Leader in Me schools
  • Support marketing and promotional efforts, such as creating social media content or event flyers
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining databases, organizing materials, and compiling post-event reports

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle last-minute changes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with event management software
  • Proficiency in Canva
