We’re seeking a detail-oriented, full-time bookkeeper to join our client’s team and take charge of their financial record-keeping. In this role, you’ll be the maestro of QuickBooks Online, conducting day-to-day bookkeeping tasks with precision and expertise. You’ll work remotely, leveraging your deep understanding of accounting principles to support a growing business in the musical instrument industry. Responsibilities
  • Compose accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online, ensuring every note is in perfect harmony
  • Orchestrate day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, keeping the rhythm of financial operations steady and strong
  • Process and record financial transactions related to piano purchases and sales, hitting all the right keys in the ledger
  • Conduct your work with electronic documents and computerized accounting systems, staying in tune with modern financial practices
  • Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial record-keeping, maintaining a pitch-perfect balance sheet
  • Collaborate with management to provide insightful financial reports and analysis, helping to guide the company’s fiscal melody
  • Adapt to company-specific processes and guidelines, learning to play in perfect harmony with the existing team

Requirements
  • 4+ years of extensive experience with QuickBooks Online, with the ability to navigate its features expertly
  • A deep understanding of accounting principles and practices, as fundamental as knowing your scales
  • Proficiency in working with electronic documents and online systems, as comfortable in the digital world as a pianist is at the keys
  • Sharp attention to detail and unwavering accuracy, catching every note in the financial composition
  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with various software applications, ready to master any new technological instrument
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, self-motivated and disciplined like a dedicated musician
  • Experience in the musical instrument or retail industry is a plus, but not required – your accounting expertise is the main performance
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for the team
