Role Summary

We are looking for a strong Business Development Specialist to support the growth of our company to manage all aspects of business development initiatives, actively outreach to pursue business opportunities, drive revenue generation, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to sales strategies. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on research, lead generation, and client engagement to drive revenue and market expansion.


Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Market Research
  • Identify and research potential business opportunities to drive efforts on corporate wellness and community engagements. 
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, and digital outreach.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and market shifts.
  • Maintain a database of prospects and track interactions using CRM tools.

Client & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and local communities of all kinds. 
  • Schedule meetings, calls, and presentations to introduce company products/services.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored business solutions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners and stakeholders. Build a robust network to facilitate business growth. 
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle with superior customer service.

Sales & Business Development Support
  • Assist in the development of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Execute outreach and business development campaigns set forth by management. 
  • Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, track progress, follow up on leads and ensure a high conversion rate. 


Outreach & Project Management
  • Coordinate all efforts to ensure a smooth and professional execution of the company in events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Increase company’s involvement within the local communities through conducting online research and outreaches to organize in-store events, trade shows/conferences and other relevant local events. 
  • Execute business development projects set forth by management. 
  • Responsibilities can be changed from time to time as the business develops and changes; Ad hoc and special projects as assigned  


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong background in sales & business development
  • 5+ years of experience in wellness, consumer products or retail industry
  • Proven ability to close deals
  • Adaptable with creative ways to approach accounts and customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Fast learner, able to take directions with minimum supervision
  • Can-do attitude with entrepreneur spirit
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workloads and demands
  • Ability to work independently, applying solid judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, and team player who collaborates well with others
  • Diplomatic and outstanding professionalism, Resourceful, accountable, and dependable
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office; Online research; tech savvy
