Do you have experience with global product marketing management and product commercialization? Are you passionate about helping to drive forward advances in large molecule drug development? Then you may be the new Global Product Manager we are looking for to be responsible for our Biopharma HPLC column portfolio.

This is a key role in managing a portfolio of innovative HPLC columns specifically aimed at the biopharmaceutical industry, with products addressing challenges from drug development to manufacturing. Our goal is to become the supplier of choice for HPLC-based characterization solutions for biologic compounds, delivering unmatched quality, innovation, and support to customers around the globe.

The main responsibilities are as follows:

  • In conjunction with a highly functioning global team of product managers and applications chemists, design and implement marketing strategies for LC columns used in biologics characterization to establish product placement within the biopharma and associated markets. Interface with R&D scientists, manufacturing, finance, and sales to develop new products and ensure impactful new product introductions that achieve sales volume and revenue targets.
  • Manage a broad portfolio of existing LC columns through the entire product life cycle.
  • Clear, concise, and dynamic presentation skills are critical to the success of this role, which frequently delivers complex information to a broad spectrum of stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Conduct competitive analyses to determine product positioning, market segmentation, channel mix, pricing, volume, product service/support strategies, and identify customer pain points to be addressed in value propositions.

Conduct product planning, including:

  • Developing product definitions and solution plans designed to address customer needs and/or expand market share.
  • Developing strategies for supporting customer applications in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Evaluating business opportunities to define and optimize the product portfolio through an in-depth understanding of target markets, market trends, customer business issues, and the competitive environment.
  • Collaborating with customers and third parties to define requirements for new products or extensions to existing products.
  • Support field and sales organizations with sales training, customer-facing material, events, and general product-related requests. Build, maintain, and nurture close relationships with the global field organization through regular phone calls and travel in different regions.
    Qualifications

    • 8+ years of experience with any mix of Product Management or equivalent relevant experience – sales, business development, field applications, etc.
    • Strong Experience with nucleic acid-based techniques, peptide separations and purification, and/or vector-based characterization, preferably with experience across the product lifecycle and/or in the lab.
    • Experience with Critical Quality Attribute analysis of Biologic compounds, and other regulatory requirements that apply to new Biologic drugs.
    • Willing to travel up to 10-20% of the time to meet with customers and understand their needs, support the field organization, and build/maintain a network both domestically and internationally.

    What will make you stand out:

    • Experience in or with the pharmaceutical industry is a strong plus.
    • Strong, established relationships with key industry stakeholders a strong plus.
    • Experience with medium pressure chromatography and bulk media a strong plus.
    • Advanced degree within a related scientific discipline (Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Life Science, etc.).
    • Experience with SEO and digital content optimization & management.

    Additional Details

    The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $133,120.00 - $249,600.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
