We are seeking a project manager to coordinate across the organization on projects dedicated to improving our customer experience, with a focus on work in the Professional Development (PD) team. This individual will collaborate with leadership, stakeholders, individual contributors, and subject matter experts to define projects, document requirements, identify risk, support change, and produce project artifacts.
This role works closely and collaboratively with customer-oriented teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that support strategic business objectives. Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills, ability to put the customer perspective first, and a mindset focused on data and efficiency are essential for the role.
Note: We are seeking three project managers to fill roles supporting the Professional Development team:
One role will focus on supporting multiple teams developing PD design assets across a variety of Amplify products.
One role will focus on supporting teams conducting high-volume contractor hiring and training, as well as ongoing full-time employee training.
One role will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of a long-term project to integrate a Learning Management System for professional development content, collaborating with internal Amplify teams and external vendors to ensure successful deployment.

Essential Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and workflows to support the PD team in delivering exceptional professional development that delights our customers and has a positive impact on student learning.
Collaborate with team leaders to define realistic milestones and ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
Integrate fully into project work: understand the project’s priorities and goals, think critically about the best path to success, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet deadlines and quality requirements.
Meeting Leadership and Progress Monitoring:
Implement and manage systems to track project progress through its full lifecycle.
Regularly update progress for leaders and stakeholders across levels, ensuring visibility into the status of project work. Proactively identify risks or delays and propose mitigation strategies.
Coordinate meetings tied to project execution with tact and diplomacy, facilitating decision-making to drive goals forward or make necessary adjustments.
Stakeholder Communications:
Support project team in navigating dependencies, securing necessary inputs, and ensuring alignment with project goals and leadership priorities.
Develop communication plans with stakeholders clearly identified and communication needs established.
Prepare and deliver clear progress reports, highlighting upcoming deliverables, blockers, and risk mitigation strategies.
Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
Implement a standardized and efficient project planning system across project teams.
Refine and optimize project management processes throughout the year to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, adapting plans as targets evolve and new interdependencies arise.
Ensure the team maintains high quality execution in project deliverables.
Resource Management and Capacity Planning:
Monitor project team workload and adjust assignments as needed to maintain a balanced and productive workflow.
Elevate needs for additional resources or adjustments to timelines when necessary to maintain quality and feasibility.
Tool and Technology Implementation:
Leverage project management tools (e.g., SmartSheets) to streamline tracking and collaboration.
Support the team in adopting new technologies that enhance productivity and workflow efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree
Minimum 5 years of experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
Effective oral and written communication skills
Experience communicating with and presenting to leadership
Track record of successfully prioritizing work and delivering high-quality projects on time in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
Experience working with teams producing high-quality deliverables through multiple project phases, while effectively tracking and managing iterations of team output.
Experience with project management tools (Smartsheets, Trello)
Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Certification in project management or a related process (PMP, Lean Sigma Six, Agile CSM)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the education technology field
Experience in content development and digital production
Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS)
What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
