Job description

Our client is seeking a Post-Acute/Skilled Care Administrator to lead and oversee skilled care operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. This senior-level role is responsible for strategic planning, department management, and fostering a professional work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing home leadership and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement skilled care goals, plans, and standards aligned with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical objectives.
  • Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, service levels, information technologies, and complaint management.
  • Manage staffing activities, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives.
  • Oversee budgeting processes, monitor financial performance, and ensure compliance with allocated funding.
  • Coordinate and direct internal and external audits.
  • Foster an environment of professional growth and development within the department.
  • Ensure the department plays an integral role in the continuum of care.
Must Haves:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Active Nursing Home Administrator’s license in the State of Tennessee.
  • Previous nursing home leadership experience (minimum of 3 years preferred).
Nice to Haves:
  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field.

Location: Winchester, TN (37398)

Salary Range: $101,171 – $136,593 (USD)
