Job description

The Team:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, temporary Finance & Audit Consultant to support our finance team during an internal audit. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role will assist in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while contributing to the overall audit process. You will collaborate with finance and other departments to provide critical financial insights and help maintain the company’s financial health.
 
The Job:
Assist with preparing financial documents and reports for internal audit purposes.
·         Support the review and verification of financial records for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
·         Help with reconciling discrepancies and investigating financial irregularities.
·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data for the audit process.
·         Support the preparation of tax filings and other financial documentation.
·         Assist with maintaining internal controls and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
·         Communicate with external auditors as required to facilitate smooth auditing procedures.
·         Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to aid in the audit and reporting process.
 
Required Education and Experience:
·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
·         Previous experience (8+ years) in accounting, audit, or financial reporting.
·         Familiarity with accounting procedures, financial regulations, and audit processes.
·         Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
·         Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
