General Accountability:
The Marketing Data & Operations Manager plays a crucial role in optimizing marketing strategies by leveraging data-driven insights and streamlining operational processes. This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional with 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations, data analysis, and patient engagement. The ideal candidate has proven success in driving patient pathway adoption and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience with HubSpot and/or AcuityMD is preferred but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Management & Analysis:
- Collect, validate, and interpret marketing and patient pathway data from multiple sources, including CRM platforms (like AcuityMD), digital campaigns, sales reports, and third-party databases
- Analyze trends in patient adoption, engagement, and conversion to optimize marketing efforts for medical devices
- Identify gaps in data collection and recommend solutions to improve accuracy and completeness
Marketing Operations & Automation:
- Manage and optimize marketing automation workflows within HubSpot (preferred) or similar CRM platforms
- Develop and refine lead management processes to support patient acquisition, retention, and pathway adoption
- Ensure seamless integration of marketing technologies with sales tools, EMRs, and patient management systems.
Patient Pathway Optimization & Adoption:
- Use data-driven insights to enhance patient engagement strategies, ensuring smooth adoption of medical devices.
- Track and measure key patient journey touchpoints, optimizing messaging and outreach for improved outcomes.
- Work closely with sales, clinical teams, and customer success to drive awareness and usage of medical devices
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor key patient pathway and marketing KPIs such as referral conversion rates, patient adherence, and ROI.
- Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership, marketing, and sales teams to refine strategies in real time. Present findings with clear data visualizations to support decision-making.
Compliance & Data Governance:
- Ensure marketing data and operations align with industry regulations, including HIPAA, GDPR, and FDA marketing guidelines.
- Implement best practices for data security, storage, and patient privacy.
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field or relevant work experience
Key Attributes (experience, skills and technical knowledge):
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations, data analysis, or a related field within the medical device industry.
- Proven success in driving patient pathway adoption through data-driven marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manually source, interpret, and leverage marketing data to optimize patient engagement.
- Experience managing CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot and/or AcuityMD preferred, but not required).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools to present insights effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the medical device space, patient education programs, and healthcare marketing.
- Familiarity with patient journey mapping and digital health analytics.
