We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Financial Project Controller. This role is based in our Oakville office in Ontario. The candidate will be required to be in the office three days a week, on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays, and will have the flexibility to work from home for the rest of the week.

Principal Responsibilities:
The Financial Project Controller is responsible for the financial management of Capex projects ranging from $5 to $10 million within the IPEX Group's North American operations. This includes areas such as project accounting, audit, budgetary controls, project financial evaluation and justification, procurement and purchasing approval, monitoring of project and financial performance/progress, and project presentation and reporting, as well as business case preparation.
Qualifications & Experience
5 years of relevant experience managing the finance of CAPEX projects preferably in a manufacturing environment.
CPA designation
Experience with a global setting
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
