About You

Nutrafol is seeking an experienced Sr. Associate, ERP Accountant that will be responsible for assisting the Accounting and Finance team with an upcoming ERP transition from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics 365. 

You must be highly driven and have meticulous attention to detail. You’ll partner closely with Nutrafol Accounting and Technology teams members, as well as partners from Unilever at all levels. You will be expected to problem solve, drive process improvements and exercise good business judgment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Interfaces with functional unit process owners and users to identify, define, and document needs and objectives, current procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access. 
  • Assists in defining and documenting assigned ERP systems processes and transactions in support of business processes defined by functional unit process owners.
  • Assists in the functional configuration of the assigned ERP systems areas to satisfy requests from end users for fixes, changes, and enhancements. (Bill.com, Expensify, Shopify and other systems)
  • Preparing development progress updates and documenting ERP processes
  • Partner closely with Accounting and Finance team and Technology teams and Unilever business partners to ensure timelines of status updates and and relaying testing of the rollout to various stakeholders. 
  • Build a range of tools and reports within the new ERP to be used by the business 
  • Mentor staff members on accounting practices and software use within MS Dynamics 365.

Secondary responsibilities:

  • Assist the team in the month-end close process for operating expenses, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of accrual and prepaid expense accounts, ensuring accurate recording and amortization of prepaid items.
  • Prepare flux analysis across the full P&L and Balance Sheet for senior management. 
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with various teams to review and maintain comprehensive cost trackers.
  • Manage schedules related to accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other pertinent financial components and ensure these schedules are up-to-date and reconciled regularly.
  • Offer detailed insights into significant month-over-month cost variations.
  • Aid in the Accounts Payable process, including reviewing invoice verification, approval workflows, and payment processing within the new ERP
  • Manage ad hoc requests from team members, including reports and projects for the team. 

Requirements: 

  • Experience with Quickbooks & Microsoft Dynamics 365 is required; including 2+ years of experience leading an ERP implementation  
  • 4-7 years of accounting experience preferably with Consumer Products experience
  • CPA or working toward CPA designation preferred 
  • Experience in start-up/high-growth eCommerce or CPG business 
  • Ability to develop systems and processes to ensure efficient data processing 
  • Ability to extend the range of management tools and reports used by the business 
  • Ability to mentor junior staff members on accounting practices and software use 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adhere to tight deadlines, and be unafraid to ask questions 
  • Advanced skills in Excel, with the ability to manipulate, digest, and summarize large amounts of data 
  • Proven ability to identify and drive process and system improvements 
  • Passionate about accounting operations and willing to roll up your sleeves 
  • Experience gathering, evaluating, presenting, and reporting financial information to various audiences
Nutrafol takes into consideration a wide range of factors in final compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.
Salary Range:
$85,000$95,000 USD
