DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.

The team is made up of enthusiastic professionals that work in an international environment adapting to different context and learning new technologies and parts of Deutsche Banks’ businesses.

Every day we look at what needs to be done to support continuous business and how to improve current activities. Changing the Bank is a challenging endeavour which we tackle every day and enjoy our success when our efforts fundamentally change how Deutsche Bank works.

The Authorization & Access Control Tribe operates some of the most important Services in the bank. The solutions provide the means to manage access policies, provide real-time access decisions and audit logs to customer applications.

We are working with large scale deployments, highly-available, performant environments in cloud ecosystems and on-premises.

The team has coverage around all timezones and we operate in an Agile manner for all the projects in the Tribe.

There is a strong focus for our offerings to be 100% compliant from a security standpoint.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and Developing end to end components/modules of the Authorization Solutions
  • Taking ownership of large pieces of implementation in the overall Solutions
  • Participating in code review sessions, individually and jointly
  • Participating actively in the Scrum Ceremonies of the Tribe
  • Aligning regularly with the Product Owners, Project Managers of the Solutions, Tribe Lead Engineer and Tribe Architect

Skills
  • Ability to work in large teams, including internal and external members
  • Ability to transparently communicate to stakeholders and vendor resources
  • Prioritizing knowledge sharing within the team
  • Having a security-first mindset
  • Strong Java/Spring background, including ORM/Batch/Web technologies
  • Strong SQL knowledge: Oracle or similar RDBMS system
  • Experience with microservice-based architectures
  • Experience developing batch processes/ETL jobs
  • IAM experience: authorization, authentication
  • Previous cloud experience (GCP is preferred), working with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Nice to have: Angular/React or similar UI experience
