Job Summary: This associate editor will work to support editorial content creation for the Vehicle Repair division at Endeavor Business Media. This person will report and write stories, produce multimedia pieces, and manage content and social media.

Essential Job Functions:

• Research, interview, write, post, and promote print and digital content.
• Rewrite press releases, write product summaries as needed, and create curated news content.
• Attend and cover industry tradeshows and events
• Lead coverage for at least one key beat.
• Study and apply insights from site/brand analytics
• Cover all administrative editorial duties as assigned.

Core Competencies:

• Can write and edit content on deadlines.
• Can identify the topics and images that will generate a consistently high level of interest from the audience.
• Stays up to date and report industry news for repair businesses.
• Work on long-term articles for magazine publication and digital distribution.
• Helps manage content in the CMS and post to social media.
• Participates in group editing, ideation, and other exercises.
• Assists in event coverage and execution as needed.
• Assists with sponsored content opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail
• Solid time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and HTML
• Proficient in AP Style
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, Communications or related field or minimum of 2 years’ experience in B2B writing or equivalent.

Some travel required.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.

If you are hired for this position at Endeavor, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as hiring location, skillset, prior years’ experience, relevant education, certain degrees and certifications, training, and market considerations. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
