We’re looking for our next Administrator, Account Services Operations. Could It Be You?

The purpose of the Account Services Operations Administrator is to facilitate and support the new account opening process and manage client information within the account opening process.

The Account Services Operations Administrator will primarily be responsible for ensuring client accounts are correctly funneling through the different stages of the account opening life cycle, ensuring proper management of various incoming documentation and deposit information, while updating and maintaining accurate source systems data.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review account documents for completion and accuracy while following regulatory and Questrade policies and procedures.
  • Process client requests from a range of task queues.
  • Pre-authorized deposit (PAD) validations
  • Dividend reinvestment plan (DRIP) setups and updates
  • Distribution of incoming faxes to the appropriate departments
  • Validate and approve beneficiary designation requests
  • Authorized trader maintenance.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient operations.
  • Provide support for a variety of Questrade teams to support our clients requests.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned

  • Are a College or University graduate or equivalent (preferably in administration and/or finance area)
  • Have 1+ years of relevant work experience preferred, ideally in the financial services industry
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a positive attitude and strong client orientation
  • Have strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
  • Have a high level of attention to detail
  • Have the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Have curiosity to learn and understand why and how
  • Have the ability to collaborate effectively as a team player


Additional Kudos If You…

  • Have experience working in operations or account services department
  • Have experience using Broadridge BPS (preferred)
  • Have knowledge of G-Suite, especially Google Sheets (preferred)
