Role description
We are looking for someone to test and constantly make suggestions to improve our digital marketing and content projects across both brands within our portfolio. You’ll focus on YouTube optimization and digital performance, including areas like conversion rate, SEO, and email campaign improvements.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives on working within established systems and optimizing high-impact content strategies. You will also think outside the box, bringing fresh ideas and creative insights.
This is for someone who loves researching, reviewing data, and proposing new ideas (and testing them!) to see what will work.
For instance, one of our channels has grown to over 500,000 subscribers, and our brand presence continues to expand. You’ll work across multiple projects, primarily refining and executing our proven systems to help sustain and enhance this success.
If you’re driven, adaptable, love building and testing hypotheses, and like learning and building on established processes, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
- Build tests: Constantly monitor and review our key metrics to identify improvement opportunities and craft clear, data-driven hypotheses (and test them!)
- Design and run experiments such as A/B tests, personalization projects, and MVT tests.
- YouTube Optimization: A/B test thumbnails, optimize titles, conduct retention analysis, and monitor analytics for video performance across channels.
- Project Management for Video Releases: Coordinate video releases, ensuring thumbnails, titles, and timing align with established standards.
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Conduct audits to uncover opportunities for better user engagement and smoother/higher conversion paths in different channels (email campaigns, YouTube channels, landing pages)
- Email Marketing Optimization: Oversee and improve ongoing email campaigns, optimize drip sequences, and implement segmentation strategies.
- SEO and Site Audits: Perform SEO audits, support content briefs, and implement strategies to improve search rankings.
If you feel you have a good grasp of the concepts but not all the experience, don’t worry! We can train you.
Requirements
Our primary requirement is for someone who loves to research and analyze data and take those insights to hypothesize and experiment. Someone who loves to learn, is driven and can thrive in a very independent remote working environment.
The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate:
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions to enhance performance.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn our systems and methods while bringing new ideas and creativity.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for coordinating with team members and external contractors.
- Project Management: Skilled in managing multiple marketing projects with efficiency and high attention to detail.
- Initiative: A proactive approach to taking ownership of tasks and supporting team goals.
- This is not the company for you if you like established processes with a lot of supervision. We expect someone who can work independently and figure things out on their own. We expect you to do your job, ask questions and deliver when requested. We don't do micromanaging :)
The role
This is a contractor position. You will be paid through Gusto.
📌 This role is open only to people living in Latin America.
- Salary: $3,400 to $3,700 monthly
- Full-time, fully remote role with 40 hours per week.
- Flexible schedule: you can set your own hours!
- 25 days of Paid Time Off per year (Use them for holidays, time off, or sick time!)
- Internet stipend of $40 USD per month
