Job description

At Evolve, we’re on a mission to make vacation rental easy for everyone. Our high-performing, customer-obsessed team runs on curiosity, communication, and accountability—working together to create exceptional experiences for our owners and guests. Whether solving big challenges, delivering outstanding results, or celebrating wins, we approach every day with purpose and passion. If you’re ready to join a mission-driven company where every teammate has the opportunity to thrive, Evolve might just be the place for you.

Why this role

Evolve is on a mission to make vacation rental easy for everyone and we’re looking for a Marketing Technology & Analytics Specialist to help our marketing team get us there.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, you will play a key role in the support of the Marketing Operations team’s efforts. You will assist the team with deploying emails and automations for our strategic marketing stakeholders, and will work to process and migrate data to power Marketing reporting and insights. Your input will directly impact our team’s ability to take on more projects, boost work quality, and improve the quality of our end customer experience.

You will have the opportunity to learn advanced techniques in modern tools from experts in their use - email automations, data workflows, evaluating data using various analytics platforms, and more.

What you’ll do

This is an opportunity to develop valuable marketing operations skill sets within the rapidly growing vacation rental industry. The ideal candidate will bring a high level of organization, attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and an obsession on the customer experience that will materially impact the ability for the Marketing Operations team to execute in a strategic and timely fashion. A desire to learn more about marketing, marketing data, and marketing technology is a must have for this role and future growth on the team.

  • Manual exports of data from our reporting software to be leveraged for analysis, email lists, suppression lists, paid social uploads, etc.
  • Manual updates of Google Sheets to keep Analytics reporting dependencies up to date
  • Pull, aggregate, and analyze data from Martech platforms (eg Google Analytics), as well as our manual exports, to be used by Marketing stakeholders for regular reporting and ad hoc insights
  • Setting up email contact lists, including segmentation and suppressions, in Hubspot and Braze
  • Setting up and deploying Hubspot, Salesforce, and Braze email sends, while also performing QA (quality assurance) tasks to ensure we focus on delivering a high-quality customer experience
  • Assist with process documentation for Marketing Technology and Marketing Analytics, including updating and creating new ‘Lookbooks’ giving other teams visibility into Marketing assets.
  • Assist with the alert management and troubleshooting process, including the creation of new alerts and working to address alerts identifying errors in our processes.
  • Processes and responds to Opt-Out/Information Selling/Information removal requests
  • Works closely with other Marketing teams on administrative work, including pulling keyword rankings, content audits, website pixel audits, and more
  • Coordinate with Project Management and other Marketing stakeholders to scope project needs and requirements
  • Perform other administrative work, including manual Lead Re-Evaluation, staff management in platforms like ChiliPiper, and other regular tasks

What makes you a great fit

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience a plus
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel required
    • Required familiarity of vlookups, xlookups, sumifs, aggregate functions, conditional formatting, and pivot tables
    • Macros/VBA knowledge a plus (not required)
  • Experience with SQL a plus (not required)
  • Required competency in navigating and learning to use new software
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics preferred
  • Basic understanding of marketing automation technology and email marketing preferred
  • Ability to perform detail-oriented work while understanding the larger scope of projects and how they play into Marketing priorities
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to multitask, collaborate, and prioritize in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Strong team player with ability to work independently, juggle multiple deadlines and pivot when needed
  • Exceptionally organized with strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking to assignments
