Introduction
Gallagher Bassett Technical Services division (GBTS) is looking to hire a full-time environmental project manager to support the environmental operations practice area in our Poughkeepsie, NY regional office. The position will include project management, research, report preparation, training and fieldwork. You will work as part of an environmental consulting team and support the strategic direction, client interactions, and technical deliverables associated with projects.
Much of our work is for affordable housing developers and we are involved in assisting our clients in all phases of development projects through obtaining SEQR, CEQR and NEPA clearances required by funding agencies, through environmental site investigations, remediation during construction, as well as documenting this work and closing out projects with environmental regulators. The regulatory agencies we work with typically include NYSDEC, NYCDEP, OER, NYSHCR, NYSHFA. As well as traditional environmental consulting involving soil, vapor and groundwater, our team includes specialist SSDS designers, acoustical consultants and planners. As your career evolves with GBTS we will encourage you to explore your strengths and develop specific expertise within the range of services we provide.
